Derry Felton, a vent dependent quad friend of mine who is a filmmaker, has an indiegogo funding campaign going for his next film: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/by-and-by?fbclid=IwAR0Yma0D175ueDl2ph05MfUtF67Lh_EPsvUqBg9buPbtRCWplt-iNcz7dr8#/ He’s a cool, talented guy. Consider giving him some support! He has a few student films on the web. Here’s and example based on the poem “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe: https://youtu.be/CgbxoNOkAdg

Yes, I realize I have been neglecting my chapter story called “Happy Mother’s Day” - and today being Mother’s Day is constantly reminding me of that! Rest assured I do plan to continue and finish this series. I have started Chapter 7, but for some reason today I feel more like working on a COVID-19-inspired, pandemic-themed story 🙄 I found this piece by a daughter coming to terms with the impact polio had on her mother very moving (and very timely - for both Mother’s Day and the current infectious disease pandemic): https://www.washingtonpost.com/magazine/2020/05/04/my-mothers-childhood-bout-with-polio-

I’m posting this here in “Journals” because this happened to me last week. This is also my first time posting directly from my phone. Forgive the slow start. Warning - it does include some blood and trauma. I get carsick easily, sometimes even when I’m the driver. On winding roads when it’s dark it happens, especially if rain or anything else is limiting visibility, making me feel claustrophobic. I was nearing the end of the almost nine hour drive from my city to that of my parents, and I was carsick. It started in the mountains where the narrow two lane road switches back and forth, hugging the steep slopes, a

thanks for watching!

Hello....You know I love Axel Dreams. I just wanted to say I re-read it again today for like the 100th time. I love this story so much and I know I thank you often but I wanted to thank you again for it. I wonder how our Dr. is doing....I hope she's still so happy and content as reading her story makes me. Reading it makes me feel like I'm wrapped in a warm blanket (intended). Thank you for that it's truly my favourite happy place literature to go to.

Aww - thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I am a bit sad that I haven’t managed to get back to writing her story. I have sooo much of it planned out in my head. I still have an excel spreadsheet calendar covering the rest of her time in the hospital on my computer. I discovered role playing around the time I stopped writing her character. I began playing her in role plays instead with devs online. After over six years of an online relationship, I met up with my very first role playing dev at the beginning of this year for a pretending vacation. I was a C2 complete quadriplegic for 6 days. It was spectacular!!!

Thanks for watching!
